Who is ‘The Mounting Bloc’?

Formed by a pair of passionate equestrians and a firm belief in “local is lekker”, The Mounting Bloc. was born. At our core we are an equestrian sports and leisure brand, specialising in ladies Baselayers and Show Shirts. In addition we offer select complementary equestrian items, through partnering with local entrepreneurs and companies.

The Mounting Bloc is fully committed to delivering high quality, affordable, locally sourced products. We look forward to growing our product value and offering, delivering the very best that South Africa has to offer!

Behind The Brand – The Founders

The brand was initially started by two Cape Town equestrians, Cassidy and Margot.

Having been involved with horses most of their lives and with a creative, entrepreneurial spirit, the girls have continued their passion for the sport through the TMB brand. Designing and selling products that they believe in and wear themselves.

The TMB brand is now lead solely by Cassidy, and her all-ladies support team in Cape Town, SA. However, a new and exciting chapter is unfolding, with a UK partner, Lara Wallace. She will be driving international sales of the TMB Brand.

From our Brand Ambassadors, to our designer and small manufacturing team, we are a proudly woman-run, South African brand, harnessing local talent and resources.
